Running this the command against an ASA-A20 results in the following error:

New-AsBuiltReport : ZAPI is not supported

Expected behaviour

Successful report. I've been using the report for years, but this is the first time against an ASA-A20. All good on FAS and AFF in the past.

If your netapp.ontap pstk is newer than 9.10 it won’t support ZAPI calls. That might cause what you’re seeing.

Also, I remember that ONTAP 9.11 - 9.16 (?) would support ZAPI calls via PSTK if you specified whether to use ZAPI or REST when you connected to the node/cluster. If NetApp has dropped ZAPI support completely from 9.16 onwards and maybe ABR is still trying to use that ZAPI switch on connect causing the error you are seeing. What versions of ONTAP are running on the other devices which still work with ABR?

We successfully ran an asbuilt report on an AFF-A150 running 9.16.1P6 about 2 weeks ago.
The device that's failing is an ASA-A20 running the same 9.16.1P6 firmware.

I tried an verion '9.9.1.2110' of the ontap ptsk, but it failed to run, with an error "New-AsBuiltReport : The 'Invoke-AsBuiltReport.NetApp.ONTAP' command was found in the module." AsBuiltReport.Core 1.4.3 and AsBuiltReport.NetApp.ONTAP 0.6.8

I tried reinstalling the modules and it installed NetApp.OnTAP module version "9.16.1.2501" when I did a "Install-Module -Name AsBuiltReport.NetApp.ONTAP -Force -skippublishercheck".

I ran several tests using Labondemand with the ASA lab...

If I remove the -ONTAPI option, the report can be used, but many sections appear blank.

Ontap's pstk modules are a complete disaster.

Unfortunately, I have not found a practical solution to resolve or mitigate this issue.
