Not possible to add a child feature when the layer is with geometry #4282

Description
I have a project as follows:
- Parent layer: a flat table with no geometry
- Child layer: a line layer
When I open the parent layer and try to add a child it keeps jumping to a wrong window and does not show me the map to allow capturing geometry. In QGIS, everything works as expected.
