Feature request: Management of user roles

Hi

I came across this extension while trying to find a solution for managing users and their roles. While this extension looks like it does a good job of the former (creating users, updating passwords etc), it doesn't have support for managing roles for users. We have authorization core and thus rely on assigning roles to users to be able to access our apps. Would this be something this group is open to adding? I can work on it if so.
