[Bug]: Setup script now requires sudo, is it running a different user now?

Bug description

I'm now getting this in new workspaces in the setup script

sudo: a terminal is required to read the password; either use the -S option to read from standard input or configure an askpass helper
sudo: a password is required

I didn't get this before, I'm suspecting that Polyscope now runs setup scripts with a different user than me.

The thing prompting for sudo is Valet (valet link), but again this used to work, and now it doesn't. FYI I did run valet trust.

Is polyscope running setup scripts with a different user that could explain why the sudoer config is ignored?

Does this work without a password prompt from your terminal? We run the setup scripts as the user running Polyscope, but stdin is set to ignore - so if valet trust would ask for a sudo password it wouldn't work. Nothing changed about how we run the setup scripts though 🤔

Understood, thanks for the response, the problem isn't with Polyscope then, I'll investigate.
