[Bug]: Square placeholder glyphs appear in issue selection and workspace rename inputs

Bug description

Square placeholder boxes sometimes appear in regular app text inputs, for example in the GitHub issue selection flow or when renaming a workspace.

This does not look like terminal output. It looks more like missing glyph rendering (tofu), a UI font fallback problem, or unsupported / hidden Unicode characters being rendered in a font that cannot display them.

There was a related closed issue about terminal fonts (#13), but this report is about normal application UI inputs, not the embedded terminal.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the GitHub issue selection flow or rename a workspace.
2. Type or edit the text in the input field.
3. Observe that square placeholder glyphs can appear after the visible text.
