[Bug]: Polyscope Branch is not being committed to local main project

Bug description

When polyscope branches from a local project and implements changes in the branch, it doesn't commit the changes to the original local main. They stay in the cloned polyscope branch. Im working on a PHP Laravel website.

Steps to reproduce

create a local project Folder, have it install Laravel, use herd as local host for preview function, branch in polyscope and change anything, then commit. Changes are not implemented in the main, are not visible in Herd and are not accessible in another new branch in polyscope anymore.
