[Bug]: Doesn't notice manually created PR

Bug description

If I manually create a PR, Polyscope has no knowledge of it and the action button doesn't change to commit like it normally does. It stays on "Create PR".

(I created it manually because I wanted to have control over the PR description for a sensitive fix.)

Maybe there could be a button to refresh the status?

Steps to reproduce

• Do work with Polyscope
• Commit work
• Create PR manually using the gh command
• See the "Create PR" button.
