[Feature]: What's the capacitor recommended version to use?

Inform what is the recommended version for a new production ready project (8 or 7?)

I just started using capacitor (latest, v8.0.0), and after getting my project up and running on Android, and published on google play, I started the saga to get it running on iOS.
After removing two plugin (:capacitor-status-bar and capacitor-community-safe-area) because of incompatibility of parameters with the native code, it worked on the iphone simulator, but is not working the sound on the phisical device, which I guess is some iOS specific playback/record mode thing,

I'm wondering if I should downgrade from 8 to 7, and if there is a ste-by-step for that.

Hey there @echogit, in general the recommendation would be to use the latest version in a new project.

If you're having troubles with iOS, please provide more details on exactly what is the problem you are facing, preferably in separate issues for easier troubleshooting.
