Summary

Adds Open Tech's Trello MCP server to the community servers list.

Server Details

  • Repository: https://github.com/Open-Tech-Cl-Spa/trello-mcp
  • Platform: Trello (Atlassian)
  • Transport: stdio (Node.js)
  • Tools: 20 tools covering boards, lists, cards, labels, members, checklists, comments, search, and organizations
  • Skills: 3 skills for board setup, bulk card creation, and sprint/workflow management
  • Auth: API Key + Token via environment variables

What it does

Allows Claude to interact with Trello directly — create boards, manage cards, move tasks between lists, invite members, search across boards, and generate status reports. Built with the official MCP SDK (@modelcontextprotocol/sdk).

Testing

Tested in production managing 6 Trello boards with 120+ cards for a software company's project management workflow.

Thanks for contributing to the MCP servers repo!

We've retired the third-party server list from the README in favor of the MCP Registry — see #3950 for context. The Official Integrations and Community Servers sections no longer exist in the README, so this PR no longer has a target.

Going forward, please publish your server to the MCP Registry using the quickstart guide:
https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/registry/blob/main/docs/modelcontextprotocol-io/quickstart.mdx

That's where server discovery now happens. Thanks for building on MCP!

Note: I'm working through the backlog with help from Claude Code to give everyone a prompt response.
