You could just upload the new PDF file with the same name as the old one. In the following dialog, you then choose the "Replace" option. It will overwrite the file but keep the old content as a version. So you could roll back at any time. The share link would then always point to the current version. |

Hello,
I just sent a link to a static file (PDF) in my OpenCloud to a group of people, only to realise that I made a small mistake the second after I hit "send". I had to make a change, upload the new file, and send out a new email with the new link.
I am aware that I could have shared a link to a folder, and then been able to update the file, but that seems overkill for a single file.
Would it be conceivable to be able to replace a file in such a way that the share link of the previous file continues to work, but yields the new file instead?
