Roundy - 润体

English

Roundy is a font with smooth appearance.It may be cute and seems like a hand-wrtiting style. It provides 26 English letters and some punctuations. It also supports a little characters of Chinese, Janpanese, Russian and other languages.

How to use?

• Only use the font personally:
• • Download files Roundy.ttf for your computer and then install it.
• Try to adapt it:
• 1. Click https://github.com/Samable07/Roundy/releases and find files with.sfd.
  • Tips: Sometimes the lastest version of Roundy is not able to be found.
  2. Download the file and use APP like FontForge to open it.
  3. Then to edit it.

Addition

• Why I name the font Roundy - 润体?

Roundy is not a real word. It is a Coinage and made up of 2 parts:Round means "The shape of a circle", y likes a suffix(Such as cloudy, Smiley and ect.).
In hanzi, 润 means round in English, 体 means font in English. It also sounds very similar in Chinese and English.
Well, its English name Roundy takes inspiration from another font called Smiley Sans(Made by @oooooohmygosh).

Plan

I want to complete all the Chinese characters and Japanese characters in GB2312.It will takes me a long time.

杂谈

• 为什么它要叫做Roundy - 润体？

Roundy是这个字体的英文名，是一个生造词。由Round（圆形的）和y（后缀）组成。
润字取自汉语词语圆润，符合这个字体的总体特征。其次，润体和它的英文Roundy的读音有异曲同工之妙。
当然，它在名称上的灵感也来源于另一款字体Smiley Sans - 得意黑。

计划

我想在有生之年做完GB2312上的所有中文（6763个汉字）和日文字符。
