It looks like the PPA builds act weird in our env, I was not able to determine why.
I had to do this for the resolute rebase for webstation and I found compiling like this fixed a bunch of small bugs (vulkan not working on nvida and other rendering glitches).
This also gets us up to ingesting current stable releases instead of ingesting from Debian repos.
I dropped arm support as we do not really have reliable tested GPU support on arm for the stack so it was pointless.
